Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!

Dear Hoosac Valley Middle School Students, Families, and Caregivers,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Hoosac Valley Middle School. I am honored to join the Hoosac Valley community and look forward to serving our students, families and community partners as we begin the 2026–2027 school year.

As I begin this journey, one of my first priorities will be to listen and learn. I want to understand what makes Hoosac Valley special, celebrate the traditions and successes that make our community proud, and work together to identify opportunities for continued growth.  At the heart of our school is Hoosac Valley PRIDE: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Empathy. These values will guide our work as we build a school community where every student feels seen, valued, supported, challenged, and proud to be a Hurricane.

There is tremendous excitement as we prepare to welcome our students back to HVMS. In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to visiting classrooms, talking with students and staff, attending school activities, connecting with families, and learning more about the Hoosac Valley community.  I am not simply joining Hoosac Valley to lead a school; I am joining a community, and I am proud to become part of it.  Thank you for welcoming me to Hoosac Valley. I look forward to meeting you and working together to make the 2026–2027 school year an outstanding year for our students.
